2. What were your reactions when you found out you were pregnant? yipee!! not so much my husbands reaction he laid on the floor for 2 hours without saying a word

7. Due date? Sept. 16th
8. Did you deliver late or on time? It was supposed to be a scheduled C-section but turned into an emergency one when I went into labor 5 weeks early on my brother's birthday (love you Josh)
9. Did you have morning sickness? yes! we call that puke fest 2004
10. What did you crave? fat!!! I wanted fried things, which isn't a normal occurrence for me (Chicken crisper s at Chilis, French fries, McDonalds breakfast foods)
11. Who/what irritated you the most? not being able to find a name
12. What was your first child's sex? girl
13. How many pounds did you gain throughout the pregnancy? 11 (before I get any hate mail I was sick, plus working outside of the home, plus had her 5 weeks early)
14. Did you have any complications during your pregnancy? Nope
15. Where did you give birth? The Med, College Station
16. How many hours were you in labor? probably an hour of horrible hard contractions while they were trying to find the anastesiologist. She was ready to arrive and no one believed me, finally they said Oh, we better get to the OR when the realized they were a minute apart

17. Who drove you to the hospital? my co-workers, b/c my water broke at a retirement luncheon, embarrassing!
18. Who watched? James and several dr.s and nurses (both mom's missed it b/c it was early and unexpected)
19. Was it natural or c-section? c-section
20. Did you take medicine to ease the pain? Epidural during and pain medicine for the next little bit in the hospital, didn't take it at home though
21. How much did your child weigh? 5 lbs. 12 oz.
22. Did your child have any complications? she wasn't warm enough and jaundice so she was on a warmer and under lights for 5 days in the hospital (yes even in August in CS) was was about 5 lbs. when we left the hospital little tiny girl
23. What did you name him/her? Shelby Kate Garner
24. How old is your first born today? 4 yrs old (birthday August 12)
