More Easter Fun

Here are a bunch of pics from our family get together at Nanny's house. Zoe is missing her skirt in most of them because she had a diaper situation within a few minutes of arriving so we had to take off the offending skirt and make do. She was a trooper all day and was so happy (without her nap) until the cupcake incident. Brody and her kind of crashed into each other on the swing and it made her cupcake break. She very pitifully started crying saying "my cupcake break, Brody!" over and over again. She went right to Uncle Greg to tell him all about it. It was so sad we replaced it and she was happy again!
Shelby was all about the Easter Egg Hunt. Sunday was her first one b/c her school party is after Easter Sunday. I must deprive my girls too much b/c they are crazy over the goodies! : )
It was a fun and relaxing afternoon. Bee (Janice) even got to come for a few hours and eat and visit with everyone. She has 3 chemo treatments left and we are thankful that she is healing well!
We did make Resurrection rolls this year (thanks Aunt Sheridan) and will for sure add that tradition in something we do every Easter. Shelby anointed "Jesus" (marshmallow) with "oil" (butter) and we were able to talk about that story again together. What a joyful special time!
