Last night we were so BLESSED to witness the baptism of sweet Caleb. What a precious moment that we got to be a part of. Such a tangible moment of not just talking to God and knowing he is there but seeing his presence, and feeling the holy spirit PEACEFUL and POWERFUL presence.
Last week we said good bye to my sweet Pawpaw. My first reaction was not one of sadness not initially it was excitement that he is sitting at the the feet of Jesus in the very presence of God! How wonderful!!! His memorial was such a tribute and celebration of who he was, how he lived and blessed us that are still here on earth, and his victory now in heaven. We will miss you so Pawpaw! My pawpaw, Oh how he LOVED God, LOVED his wife, LOVED his country, and LOVED A&M. So humble, gentle and kind but yet the toughest man I know.

An old Texas Aggie has gone home. Dad passed away early Monday morning in his sleep, peacefully, next to Mom a gung ho Aggie class of '45, World War II tanker, Silver Star, western artist, historian, loving husband, great Dad, Christian, and friend to literally thousands.
